Nazamoth

One of the Twelve Arkazel, Nazamoth is an ancient being whose existence reaches back to an age long before Vyralith.
Ancient legends speak of a forgotten era when the Arkazel were worshipped as demigods, commanding mighty dragons as weapons and extensions of their will. But the oldest records tell a darker story:

The dragons were once human.
Their souls were transformed, their bodies reshaped, and their wills bound to the Arkazel who controlled them.

Nazamoth was the one who perfected this forbidden power.

She could bind a human soul to a dragon and command it without resistance.
Yet her greatest secret was her connection to Isteria.
Nazamoth discovered that Lefineth's blood could awaken something inside Isteria that was directly connected to the ancient dragon souls.

That is why Nazamoth has waited for Lefineth.

She does not want her dead.

She needs her blood.

Because if Lefineth awakens Isteria's Golden Form, Nazamoth may finally be able to recover the first dragon soul the one from which all others were created.

And legend says that soul does not belong to a dragon.

It belongs to something that was human long before the Arkazel existed.
