Manata

Manata, daughter of Harpetia, is spoken of in Isteria as a silence given shape an existence that should not be named too loudly, for fear the world might learn it is listening.
She is said to carry a condition older than scripture itself: if she is ever touched, even once, the curse of Harpetia will not remain contained, but will fracture outward across every corner of Isteria like ink spilled into living water.
No one knows what the curse truly some call is its memory decay, others call it divine rot, and a few insist it is simply the world remembering something it was never meant to know.
