Long ago, Mazagor was not a god but a mortal warrior, a Blade Master of unparalleled skill, sworn to protect Isteria alongside the Dragon Knights. During the war that led to Vyralith’s banishment, Mazagor’s ambition grew insatiable. Seeking power to surpass even the dragons, he turned to the Golden Moon, a celestial force said to grant godhood but it demanded a price.
Mazagor drank its light, and the Golden Moon obeyed him alone. His body and soul twisted, his blade becoming a living void that absorbed the strength of anyone it struck. With this power, he slew his own allies, betrayed the Dragon Knights, and shattered the sacred order of Isteria. Legends whisper that the moon’s light still courses through him, binding him to a path of destruction, but also marking a prophecy: when Vyralith returns, Mazagor’s true fate will be revealed, and the balance of Isteria will hang by the edge of his sword.
